Spot Color
Screen printing is used for printing onto fabric, flat or cylindrical objects. Ink is forced through a woven fabric screen onto the product creating the imprint. This process can be repeated a number of times for multi-color printing.
Printing on dark fabrics often requires a base coat of white upon which to print the design colors. This design was created using three spot colors: white, red and a base coat of white.
This design was created using six colors: red, gold, gray, white, black and a base coat. In this case, the black was printed giving the design a richer look rather than letting the black of the tee show through.
